Fights you'd have liked to have seen

Optimus vs. Rodimus without either being a zombie or rage infected nut. One idea I'd like to see in potential movie sequels would be that the 'bots learn of a long MIA spaceship full of Autobots (the Ark) commanded by Rodimus, and we get to see the two characters struggle to become Earth leader.

It would also be cool to see OP go head to head with G1 Galvatron A "Galvatron must be stopped, no matter the cost ... One shall stand one shall fall" type fight. Prime actually would've beaten Megatron in a few minutes if Hot Rod hadn't gotten in the way, so maybe this fight would've been really epic.

Along the same lines (loosely) as this thread, US Amazon has started advertising a best of Megatron vs. Optimus Prime book. Could be cool. Just an FYI, not an attempt to derail the topic.

I've always wanted to see the following:

Starscream versus Hot Rod. In my head, I see alot of brawling, followed by cat and mouse style chases in both robot and vehicle modes.

BW Depth Charge Versus Springer. Both hand to hand sarcastic warriors. I reckon that'd be one brutal fight.

Ultra Magnus Versus Sixshot. I know it happened. But I'd like to see Magnus not get owned like some street punk.

G2 Clench Versus G2 Pyro. Both leader class. Both from the opposing factions. They were never animated or even in the comics. I'd love to see them kick ten shades of slag outta eachother.

G1 (and gone mental) Galvatron Versus BW Rampage. Two nutters going at it? Whats not to love.

Read the Marvel TF 'Time Wars' story - Optimus fights Galvatron in that. Although Galvatron was pretty distracted at the time, what with going totally insane and all...
Also, Megatron and Galvatron fought each other in the 1988 UK annual story 'Altered Image'.

That's a couple of fights you probably wouldn't have expected to see.

I dunno - if you had the Scorponok from the Japanese Headmasters series, he seemed to be much bigger than his US cartoon counterpart - certainly way bigger than Metroplex. And he had some nifty shield armour as well if memory serves.

If you disregard the having to stay in tape deck mode, Soundwave and Blaster had a nice fight to the 'death' in the Japanese Headmasters series.

Tidal Wave may be as tall as a single building... But Metroplex turns into an ENTIRE city. There's a definently size difference there. Like, MAJOUR size difference

Slag always seemed like that one Dinobot who seemed to be on the edge as far his hostility was concerned. Even in the cartoon his aggression bordered on Decepticon level.

Or something along those lines from SOS dinobots- when they try to take over. So, if a decepticon leader had proven stronger, I could totaly see him turning. Oooh- not sure I totally like the crossover idea, but he probably would have taken Megatron's side in Beast Machines.

I realize the Dinobots went up against Devastator in the movie. I was referring more to the movie coming up. If they put Omega Supreme in this movie, I'd definately go see it just for that...!

Waaaaaaay back in 1989 or so, I began drawing my own graphic novel, with practically every battle I ever wanted to see planned. Omega Supreme versus Devatator, Dinobots were toasted in the opening scene by Bruticus and most of the higher powered Decepticons, Metroplex gets in a MASSIVE battle with Trypticon after they both fell down one of the many miles-long deadfalls on cybertron, all subgroups versus their counterparts, Megatron gets fed up with Starscream and finally kills him...Mirage abandons his post during the battle out of fear, causing the deaths of Perceptor, Hound, and Gears. Learning this, several of the autobots including Brawn, Ironhide, Sunstreaker and Sideswipe want to hunt Mirage down and kill him, which Prime forbids. They rebel, and actually fight Prime, ganging up and overpowering him, access information from the outpost terminal on Mirage's last location. Thundercracker, always on the fence anyway regarding loyalty, finally sees the horror the Decepticons have in their nature, and shifts allegiance to the Autobots. He gives crucial information to them about a doomsday device the decepticons have planted in autobot city and the end is a race to stop Megatron from detonating it.

Ahhh....how I loved making those stories...now that I know 3d graphics inside and out, it'd be dirt simple making a fully rendered online fanfic...I wonder...

You should track down some of the Marvel TF comics - the Dinos had a scrap with Trypticon in those, and I think Soundwave got involved in the 'Dinobot Hunt' story at some point too, even if they may not have battled directly.

For me it would have to be Omega Supreme vs Predaking. Omega has made a legend of himself for whooping Decepticon combiners, it would be nice to see him go against the Gestalt everyone claims to be the best 'Predaking'

Which brings me to another question, which G1 toy was Bigger Omega or Predaking?
