Yes.

No soundwave without doing it right.

No Arcee in TF1.

Fans pushing for more TF dialogue helped us convince the studio that we needed scenes of the TF's talking without humans.

and a few other things I won't spoil now.

Hey Roberto!

Here's a non-Transformers related question for you - are you and Alex actually working on several scripts at once or are you doing one at a time? How's that "story on a more personal level" coming along you and Alex want to work on (are already working on?) at some point? I'm asking because you told me aeons ago on the Don Murphy board that you and Alex want to steer away from big productions at some point to write a smaller, more intimate story ...

BTW - as you might know I started (as you suggested) a few threads on all of the major Transformer message boards complaining about Prime's lips and the reaction was very positive (to lose the lips). I hope our voices have been heard ...

Oh yeah, and while we're at it - you said you've seen both versions, the faceplate Prime and Lippimus Prime - does Prime's faceplate actually move up and down when he talks, like in the cartoon, or is it static?

Hello Mr. Orci,

What Transformers would you like to see in the sequel (if there is one that is)?

At this point, there are few mods left. Mike is tweaking the ending and maybe shaving off some minutes here and there. He's waiting for some final renders from ILM and that's it.

The photo of OP in the LA Times should tell you what the final decision is on the mouth/faceplate/battle mask is.
He and others then start the international press tour in early June.

So for now, could we stop and relax on the whining?

Nothing you say, post, scream will have an impact at this point.

If you don't like the choices, fine. And if you do, good for you.

Take a rest, and come back in 2 months all ready for more debating.

Trust me, if Armageddon was any indication, you'll need the energy and then some. There will be twice as many detractors.

Just ask Ed Fuego of how lt was at Harry's AICN when Armageddon premiered.

So um, the little R-Tard known as Nelson wrote that. Tell me Robi, do we still have that time to change that face plate? "OR" will you just go ahead, for once in your life, and tell the fan base that it is indeed to late.

A real truth Robert, a real one. Not an "I think this" or "it's possible that." A real truth. A yes or no answer.

And a word of advise. IF A SEQUEL is made, and god help us fans if their is, please me more "REAL" with the fan base the second time around. Because next time the simple possibilites you vent will be looked at more closely.

f

Too late. You'll see Prime with both face plate and mouth.

Nothing personal, Bob as it's clearly not just your call, but I'm really disappointed with this.

I got a question.

Come sequel time Mr. Orci will be actually be apart of this so called coalition you preached out between fans and Baycompany?

Or are you guys just going to do whatever you want to do anyway?

I apologize if I misunderstood you, but:

If you're talking about the production doing as they liked - I wasn't aware that fans owned Transformers or was even the backbone of its sucess for the past decade (that would preclude any future production doing as they liked).

But either way, I think the production would look rather weak if they caved into every demand made by fans and fanboys. It still needs to stand on its own feet and make its own decisions, for the most part.

Oh, you don't have to cave in to every demand. You shouldn't. However it would be nice for those in charge to listen to the fans every once in while. Especially for the things they should know better not to change.

I agree, we should not just be pushed aside and ignored, but I do have a serious question, why haven't my questions been answered, like i said, I don't care if you reply no comment Mr. Orci, but if there is something you can give a small comment on I would appreciate it.
1. Starscream, real voice that was leaked or by fan boy, and is it in fact mr. Frank Welker that has taken the role.
2. If there is a sequel, which is looking good, will Bumblebee, assuming he survives, have his voice box fixed at anytime?
3. Will the sequel be more fan friendly, focusing on the Transformers mostly, since the human element of having to deal with the Transformers coming to Earth for the first time being out of the way?
4. Is the new Transformers going to be created by the All Spark while it is on earth or are they already around and are just going to be sent as reinforcements for both sides?
5. My last question, will we see the all mighty Grimlock and the rest of the Dinobots, and could it be possible to see some form of Devastator?
Like I said, I don't care if most if all of these you have to say no comment, since I understand that you need to keep some secrecy for the movie(s). Thank You.

1. Don't know. Haven't listened to leaked stuff.
2. I think so, but you'll have to ask whoever does the sequel.
3. I imagine so. That would be my instinct as well, now that the characters are set up, you can get into them more.
4. No comment.
5. No.

Mr. Orci.

I haven't asked too much questions in the past, and I won't ask many in the future, I just want to ask these:

1. Have you heard the music score of the film? If you have, is it similar to any of Bays preveous movies?

2. So you won't do the sequel becouse of lack of time. Is that true?

3. In your opinion: Who would you consider to write the sequel if you'd have any word in it.

If you don't understand the last question it's ok. As you can see I'm really bad at english grammar.

Yes but they got him more right than they ever could have gotten soundwave. He's still a jet, no mass shifting involved. Would you really want frenzy to be soundwave?

1. Yes. Similar? Yes. But also more melodic than usual.

2. Pretty much.

Starscream is the self-centered high-flying second in command of the Decepticons who'd sooner run Megatron through with a telephone pole than salute him. Seems spot on to me.

Oh wait, you want Bishie-scream.

Sometimes Oprah packs on some pounds, and is sad. Does that make her no longer Oprah?

There was never going to be a clown-colored jet that turned into a tall, slender Starscream in the live-action world. Just like Wolverine was never going to be a 5ft midget in yellow and blue spandex with a mardi gras mask.

But he sure as hell can act like him.

Thank You Rob that was helpful, although the last one was a little upsetting but I understand it would be hard to put those two in there. I have a couple of more questions real quick.
1. Which Transformers, other then Bumblebee, if any, will not speak in the film? Or will they all get someone to do their voice?
2. I know someone has already asked but he hasn't gotten an answer yet, what is the story behind Brawl, was he with the Decepticons in the Ghosts of Yesterday book but incapacitated from a previous battle, or is he going to be a brand new Transformer that is made on Earth.
Thanks again for putting up with our questions, mainly the positive ones who only are asking because we don't know if we can wait another two months.

Bob, fromwhat I can tell the script and tone of this movie is spot on IMO.

Is there any chance you'd return to write the sequel if the reviews were good enough?

Dear Orko:

Is Frenzy mentioned by name in the movie?

I'm just sort've worried that people might think its Soundwave, and get really cheesed.

Not everyone goes to the messageboards like we do, you know

Hey Roberto,

How's it all going?

Just wondering if it's possible if you could get Megan Fox on the forums sometime for a little q & a, that would be great!

Am I wrong in thinking this is a set up to punish her for the sins of the industry?

Are you willing to tell us how much of the Decepticons actions are coordinated?

1. They all talk.

2. None of our TFs are made on earth.

Is there any chance you'd return to write the sequel if the reviews were good enough?

We don't base any of our decisions on reviews.

We'd love to do the sequel, but we got lucky getting Star Trek going so fast, and since we're also Executive Producing, we have too many responsibilities to split our focus.

I'm just sort've worried that people might think its Soundwave, and get really cheesed.

Not everyone goes to the messageboards like we do, you know
I think so. Haven't seen the final, final cut yet.

They are not acting independently. They are coordinating their actions.
