I've just seen it, I'm not so sure as I watched the original Clash of the Titans in the cinema when it came out back the (very?) early eighties. I like the giant scorpions but I'll reserve judgement until I've seen the film. When is the movie due to be released?

Looks decent. I'll probably go see it. I've been waiting for the original to come out on Blu-Ray...

watched the original last night on DVD, still as good as it was back then, something about old Ray Harryhausen's effects takes me back to being a kid again.

I've mixed feelings about the new one, if it changes enough to work as it's own story I'll be pleased, but if it just mimics the old one using better effects I'll feel a little cheated (I imagine).

From the blurb I was reading on Superhero Hype the other day it does sound like they have changed a hell of a lot, now the main villain is Hades, not calibos as it was in the first film.

Poor Hades...always portrayed as the bad guy...
