We have some capes we were given last year as part of a promotion at a local bar we go to from time to time. So I think we are going to be wearing those again when we go out tomorrow night. Not sure "dressing up" would be exactly the right term, Richard did suggest getting so face paints to make us look a little more "undead" for the occasion.

What else was she going to be? I can't even think of a Joe "prop" that would work...

Next year, I want to be Nintendo characters. Being very stout on a medium build would make me a fantastic looking Mario. My good friend is about 4 inches taller than me and has a slimmer frame but still has a slight pot belly, making him the perfect Luigi. Our wives, albeit not quite as ideal as one is half-korean and the other is a short red-head, can be the two Princesses and our children could all dress up as Toads or Yoshi.

didn't get dressed up in the end, we both felt a bit self conscious walking through town in black capes, even on halloween we'd still get "looks". but we did manage to get some masks (which I think we traumatised a couple of kids with) no photos sadly (I didn't want to risk loosing the camera).

Maybe next year.
