Why won't the BBC put out classic Doctor Who in season sets? Just start with the First Doctor and move up the line. Doctor Who was never meant to be watched in sporadic clumps of stories as they've been releasing them!

Some episodes of the First Doctor and most of the Second Doctor's episodes are unrecoverable, true. But that shouldn't stop them from compilling the episodes they do have into chronological DVD sets. I bought the set that had the first three stories of the First Doctor (plus the fourth story that had audio only set to images). But why did they stop there? Instead, they're bouncing all over the series, releasing stories in no particular order...
